whats the biggest rim have you seen mounted on a mazda 2 and still look good? they come stock with 15" rims. do you think i can fit 18" rims on it? i dont want to overdo it but i also want big rims with it.

I think 18 will be overkill on that size of car. I say go with 17s.

18's will fit but I agree with MazdaLove. It wont look right if you put 18's on a car that small. 17's will look really good on that. Plus the bigger the rim the harder it is for your car to accelerate and also stopping distance is increased.

I vote 17s. Don't make your car look goofy, but if you like 18s I'm sure you would be able to go with those. Maybe someone can photoshop a set of rims on the car.

Yeah. That would be a good idea. Can someone here photoshop a mazda 2 with 17" and 18" rims so we can see the difference?

I would even say 17's are too big. A wider variety of widths and offsets is available in 15" and a 4x100 bolt pattern.

Yeah man fitting 18" wheels is just dumb.

No gain 17" is the max i would go. With 18" you loose fuel econ power and everything.

the 18 would have a pretty short sidewall too, making the ride on the harsh side

From a functional perspective, sticking with 15" wheels will offer far more benefits than using anything larger. You want to go wide, not larger diameter. 205/50/15 mounted on some 15x7.5 or 15x8 would be my choice of upgraded wheels+rubber in my 2.

Of course, if you are only going after the baller look, then by all means, stick a bling bling 19" in there if you can.
