I have recently purchased a 2011 Mazda 2 in Spirited Green (YAY!!!). The person who sold it to me said that he had read the manual and he still didn't know what the "Text" button on the dash does. He also told me to ring him if I ever found out.

So, does anyone know what the "Text" button does???

I know this is a fairly old post, but if this hasn't been figured out yet, the TEXT button toggles between album name, artist name, and song title when playing a CD.

I know this is a real old post so it doesn't have anything to do with a Text Message. LOL! That's what I thought guess not. I am hoping if everything works out to have a brand new 2014 Mazda 2 next week. I saw where it said text and was trying to Google what it was and it took me here. I just joined here the other day. My car now I had Kenwood CD/MP3 Sirius radio put in my car and it I am so used to seeing all 3 on one screen song name of artist and channel for Sirius for MP the text just scrolls. On my husbands Mazda 3 his shows everything on his big screen even a song off the radio shows name and artist. But now I know what Text means Thanks!
