An all-new Mazda2 is nearly ready to be shown to the world, but pictures of the interior have slipped out a little early.

Thanks to Drive.au, who got to drive an early prototype of the new car we can show you these photos of the upcoming Mazda2′s insides. Many of the style cues have been taken straight from the new Mazda3, including the ‘floating’ touch screen, three-spoke steering wheel and gauge cluster. The center stack and the air vents appear to be slightly modified though, compared to the 3. Mazda’s HMI infotainment setup also appears to be in use on this car.

So when is the 2015 Mazda 2 coming out in the US and will it really have the stuff that the Mazda 3 has? My husband just got a great deal on a Mazda 3 grand touring hatchback it's so nice. Now I want a Mazda 2 touring but the bluetooth has to be added and I was told the controls would be to the left of the steering wheel not on the steering wheel itself. Mazda has 2000 off now on the 2014 but now I am wondering if I should wait?
