I am curious to hear everyone's input into brake & clutch fluid change interval. I looked in the Mazda 2 maintenance schedule and it just states to inspect every oil change interval.
After 18 months of owning my Mazda 2, the fluid is still tan/light brown, but is slowly, very slowly getting darker.
Per the owner's manual, it appears that the brake fluid is standard DOT-3.
On my Miata, I usually change the brake fluid every 2 years, whether it gets dark or not.
Let me know what you guys think.
