I hear it when Im braking at low speed coming to a stop, windows up. I can hear the pads contacting the rotors. Its not a grinding noise or anything. Its kinda like a "shhhhh" sound. Its just something I dont remember hearing before. Anyone else hear this?

It might be bad or defective brake pads. How long have you had your Mazda2 for? If you have a habit of braking hard, your pads may be worn out already. The Mazda2 is a new car so the chances of pads in need of being changed right now is a slight chance.

Yeah I have same thing it usually makes that sound at around 30mph

agree with zoomzoom, brake pads are probably the problem you've got dude.

have you had the chance to check it out or have a mechanic take a look at it?
