Ok so I have the base 2 with no remote locks. When I go to lock the driver's door from the inside it will not lock. I can use the button in the middle or the one of the door. Neither is a good. The ONLY thing that works is using the key on the outside. How annoying! Is this really the correct behavior and can I change it?

I've had mine for almost a year now, I have the remote key and my husband keeps the extra one. The only way he can lock the drivers door is from the outside with the key. It's pretty crappy, but I guess maybe they saved money anywhere they could? My remote works for all the doors though.

Hey guys. New here but I had a similar issue on mine. It was working before then it failed the same way you guys described. Took it back in and there was a mechanical failure. I believe it was a certain cable. Covered by warranty. If I find my invoice I'll repost with the specific part. Hope this helps.

I think it is a security feature. So you can't push the bottom to lock all of the doors when you are in the car and then get out of the car accidentally leaving your key behind. What I don't like is how you can't lock/unlock all 4 doors from the passengers side!
