Well I'm driving down the interstate and the engine just stops running. No warning at all. Of course this happened on a bridge that was under construction and shut down to one lane. I had just enough momentum to coast to the end and pull off onto the shoulder. It felt like it ran out of gas, like a bad fuel pump or the fuel shutoff switch was triggered. I'm not sure where the fuel reset switch is, and was not going to remain in the car where it was parked to try and find it. Called Mazda roadside assist, and they had a flatbed there within an hour. We took it about 50 miles to the dealer, where they gave me a Mazda 6 loaner. This happened Friday around 4:30. The dealership was really good about things and very appologetic. They will look at it Monday and let me know what they find. I'll keep you all posted.

Wow, that's odd. I rarely hear about fuel pumps going out but it happens. Of course it wouldn't die just pulling in/out of the driveway but has to wait until the worst scenario.
