According to the article in the link below, there will be a new B-Spec Racing series out with the Mazda2 & Honda Fit being some of the first. I found this to be pretty cool, this new series of racing can really show how well these affordable cars can perform within their own class.

Would love the see the Mazda2 win but it might actually be a pretty good competition. Do we know what kind of track they will race on? Is it specially made for these cars (EX: street road race, rally, drag?)

Alternatively, I don't suppose anybody would be interested in upgrading the gears on the Mazda 2?

The final drive between the USDM and other markets is different as is the 5th gear from what I can tell.

USDM = 3.85 with a 0.78 5th
JDM = 4.105 with a 0.775 5th
