After read a post about the Mazda 2 sedan was announce official.

Shortly after i did some research on it and found that it was canned, and no longer in production it is shame, but I am at a lost which one is it? Is it still in production or is the car canceled?

From what i remember, Mazda had plans to offer the Mazda 2 sedan in North America but they decided not to and just kept the Mazda 2 sedan for China's market and i believe India?

I guess the Mazda 2 Sedan was more of a market specific vehicle, maybe small sedan's like the Mazda 2 Sedan are in higher demand in China & India??? not sure

One thing for sure, North America will only get a Mazda 2 Hatchback.

Even so for a sedan model, it as some pretty stiff competition, Yaris Sedan, even if they wanted a sedan, they could just purchase a Civic or a Corolla.

Also i herd, they didn't sell the Mazda 2 there is because they decided to sell the ford focus model instead.
