[Mazda2GS]

Hey guys,

My name is Brandon and I just bought my Mazda 2 a month ago. I have been on fourms before and decided to see how the Mazda 2 community is doing.

Alittle about myself. I live in Canada and I work at a performance shop, mostly for hot rods. Always been into cars owned a 1984 Mazda rx-7 before the 2 and a 2000 Mazda protege.

My Mazda 2 is a 2011 bought it new from the dealer with 10k on it. Its a GS which is the fully loaded or touring edtion in the US. I optioned for the lowering kit from Mazda speed. I got 15" Konig lightings on it with 205/50R15 Falken 615k's on it (the new compound). I recently have added a stubby atttena to cope with the ugly long one. I also put in a K&N drop in filter and a Racing Beat axel back exhaust. Future mods will come.

Hope you hear from you guys on the forums and see what you are doing to your 2's. I will post some pictures up for you guys later this week.

Sorry for the delay it's been raining a lot here. I don't miss the Rx-7 that much. The Mazda 2 handles better and is way cheaper to operate lol.

Nice run! I'm not entirely sure I dig the rims, but at least they have the polished lip. I've been back and forth over whether I like the black rims with light colored cars, but I definitely like the lip to break up the black to the tire. Those Falken tires must cost a pretty penny though! They look absolutely sick, and are clearly race inspired and not the thin boy-racer style

I agree. very nice run. I know you modded it a little but that seemed like decent pick up for a mostly stock car. Not bad. And it handled well of course the help of a good driver. Good job. I don't think i could have done that good then again I've never done something like that.
