Hello everyone.
I recently bought a 2014 M2 for commuting purposes, it's an automatic.
I commute 62 miles each way and I keep track of my mpg usage.
I have driven the car until the E starts flashing on the fuel gauge which is when the manual says you must re fuel immediately.

Now...why when I refuel can I only get 9 gallons in the tank???? isn't this supposed to be a 11.3 gallon tank?
Has anybody else experienced this?

The fuel light has a "safety cushion" built into it, so you usually still have 1/8 to 1/10 of a tank left to make it to a gas station. Range estimators work the same way, when it says you have 0 miles left you often have a half gallon or so left in the tank. Also, the filler spout and tubing isn't usually included in the tank size, that could account for a bit when you fill up.
