Stop start light flashing orange

Hi All, just wondering if anyone has come across this issue. Had the car for 2 months from new and twice now whilst driving the stop start light has started flashing orange whilst driving. First time I was in a car park just looking for a space but 2nd time last week was whilst driving on the motorway. No way of making it stop unless pulling up and switching off then back on again. Booked into my dealer but they can't get it in for a month. Wasn't initially worried but when it happened on the motorway that did concern me. No other obvious signs of anything happening and not car savvy in the slightest but interested if anyone else has come across this.
