Wow........that's one heck of a deal. I paid $13,500 in Oregon for the base model. Sport w/ Manual Trans. I did better than expected on my trade-in though, so I'm pretty happy with the deal. I'd be happier if it was $11,999 though.
The tax is 6.25%. If you trade a vehicle in, then you dont pay sales tax on the trade portion. There was a doc fee of ~100, so the grand total was 13,200...
The sales price was either 11,999 cash or 12,499 with the zero percent. I chose the zero percent.

I am a bit amazed by this pricing. What was the MSRP on the car you bought? I got my dealer down to
$1000 off MSRP and 0% financing for 60 mos. The MSRP on the sport
is 14,975.
(so 13,975 plus and 0% for 60 mos) How are Texas dealers able to get the price down to 12,500 with 0%? I haven't yet made the deal, though.
They only have two manuals, and 13 autos trans. I'm not happy with my choice of colors in the manual trans. (grey or grey).

I just did a quick search of a couple of dealers in houston and dallas, and their pricing is the same as my state, idaho. ($500 off MSRP plus 0% financing for 60 mos).
I think perhaps the aggressive pricing you benefited from disappeared with the
rising gas prices and Japan Tsunumi? I know dealers are using the tsumami to their
advantage claiming a shortage of cars coming from Japan. Oh well, perhaps this is a good time to get a great price on a big American made gas guzzler, then. Screw it.

I'm a little late but I got my 2012 Sport for 12.1k practically new with 1,600 miles like 20 days ago.
I got em to forget the dock fee (since it's illegal) and with taxes and everything turned out $12,100. It was on the lot for $11,888 too lol
Almost got em to do 12k but I really wanted to make sure I got this one (since it was green) so I gave em an extra $100.

What's a good deal to pay on a 2014 touring with added bluetooth? My husband just got a great deal on a Mazda 3 hatchback grand touring so I get an additional 500 off. Their is a special right now where Mazda is giving 2000 off of the MSRP which is like 17,8 or 0% for 60 months. If you take the 2000 off then it's either 1.9 or 2.9 depending on your credit I was told. I love his 3 but my price range is about out the door at 14 or 15 after my 500 loyalty and I'll probably do the 2000 off and I have a trade in worth about 1200. I did get a quote of 15,199 with bluetooth added using the 2000 off and then taxes and fees it came to like 16,583 but then I get the 500 loyalty and I have a trade in which is about 1200 and I'm gonna try to just add 300 to make it an even 1500 so that with the 500 loyalty is 2000 and then Mazda's 2000 is that a good deal? Will end being like 14,5. I'm thinking will get 1.9 over 5 years which won't be much compared to 2000 off being a better deal.
No one really post here anymore I'm guessing but I had my Mazda guy here who my husband saved a 1000 with by getting his Mazda 3 there tell me he can't compete with the price I'm getting my Mazda 2 for and said if you can get it for that with the Mazda integrated bluetooth added go for it. So my OTD price is going to be like 16,083. I get 2000 off MSRP then the delaship is giving me an extra 5 or 6 hundred off plus we get an extra 500 since my husband just bought a mazda if we buy before the end of Sept it's a special. I'm hoping it works out I really like this Zeal Red it's so pretty. And I am getting the touring model I love it.

I bought mine new in 2011 for $17,064 out the door in Birmingham, AL. All the dealers I contacted quoted the same price. I went with Serra Mazda as they threw in a free lifetime powertrain warranty.
