whats the biggest rim have you seen mounted on a mazda 2 and still look good? they come stock with 15" rims. do you think i can fit 18" rims on it? i dont want to overdo it but i also want big rims with it.

18's will fit but I agree with MazdaLove. It wont look right if you put 18's on a car that small. 17's will look really good on that. Plus the bigger the rim the harder it is for your car to accelerate and also stopping distance is increased.

From a functional perspective, sticking with 15" wheels will offer far more benefits than using anything larger. You want to go wide, not larger diameter. 205/50/15 mounted on some 15x7.5 or 15x8 would be my choice of upgraded wheels+rubber in my 2.

Of course, if you are only going after the baller look, then by all means, stick a bling bling 19" in there if you can.

I work @ tire shop and the best fitment is 17" wheel and 215/45-17 tire but 18"s work with 215/35-18 tire but that's paper thin. I have powder coated Mazda wheels that where OE on 05 Miata (last year for 4-lug) Racinghart edition five spoke and z rated michelin hxmxm4 tires. Only the best ! For me this works great very smooth and sticky. For some reason aftermarket wheels are hard to find the correct offset so I went this route. Oh by the way my Mazda5 has black CX7 wheels with 225/45-18 same tire Zoom-Zoom!
