Most likely just an intake and exhaust to start with. Then depending on budget probably going to do rims and suspension work next. Its still a new car so I'll have to wait and see what companies come out with for the car.

Gonna enjoy it in its natural state while I'm still in college. (only have about a year to go). After that I'll do the basic bolt-ons as well as lower it with some good wheels. I'm thinking enkei J-speeds. In the long run, maybe built motor and forced induction, Idk yet.

I have no reason to modify the car.

I am looking at a small, good mileage car and the Mazda fits this perfect.

No need to change it.
Amen brother. I'm not sure these other guys realize they bought a 2, not a Mazdaspeed 3 or a CX7

It's a 2

(Okay okay, I did slip on a chrome tailpipe sleeve and shorter rubber antenna)

that little addition to the exhaust tip looks really good, and they go for cheap at the local auto parts store don't they?

nice way to enhance the exterior appearance with a OEM-like part.

although it's a mazda2, it sure seems like a cool car to build on just like how guys build on Honda Fit's, and other comparable vehicles.

some will get this as just an A to B car, others will get it to be a show car or go fast car.

Short Stubby vs long and ugly

I am also thinking of replacing my annoying long ugly looking antenna!
My Yozora model was suppose to come with a short stubby antenna but for some reason I got the long standard one.
Do you find that you loose or get a lot of static radio reception with the short stubby one?
Cheers,
Den
